Review on πŸ”΄ FlatOut Tire Sealant Sportsman Formula - Prevent Flat Tires, Seal Leaks, with Valve Core Tool, 32-Ounce Bottle, 1-Pack, RED by Andy Quade

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This stuff just works.

If you ride a lot and don't use tubeless tubes, buy a bottle of this stuff and never look back. For reference, I drive 5 miles one-way to work almost every day. Even on weekends, I often rack up the same miles while doing other things. The roads I drive on are decent, but they're so busy there's always broken glass lying around that hasn't been cleaned from one accident or another. Before installing Flatout, I used to fix a flat tire once or twice a month. Usually a slow leak, but I've had a few fast flats. I have not had a home renovation in the past 9 months since receiving this material. Over the weekend I got a demonstration of how well it works. I dug some splinters out of my tires and one of them resulted in a large leak once I removed the splinter. By big I mean the tire lost air fast enough to go from full to flat in 30 seconds. I spun the wheel so the exhaust in the pipe blocked the hole and the air leak stopped in less than a second. Tire pressure dropped from a nominal 60 psi to 40 psi in a matter of seconds when it started leaking. Filled the tire back up to 60 and after 3 days it's still 60. If a puncture occurs while driving, the liquid constantly washes it and seals it immediately. That bit of air you lose will still leave you with a rideable bike instead of having to stop and fix it. Out of curiosity, this evening I took the tire off, inspected the tube and found at least 5 other places where fibers were sticking out of the tube from impacts. I didn't even know what I was taking. There may have been a few other places where I saw liquid residue. These were all flats I've never had to repair on the side of the road. I went ahead and applied the appropriate patches while I had them, but that was probably unnecessary as the plane did its job. When time is money, this product has more than paid for itself on multiple occasions. I will say again that this thing just works and every bike should have it.
