I recently got a new ceiling fan and found it didn't come with a remote control. Found this inexpensive twin pack and thought how heavy that could be. It's not difficult to install at all. The receiver is connected to the cables and attached directly to the top of the fan, done! So easy and not difficult at all. The remote came with a wall bracket which I mounted directly to the light switch which now stays on while the remote controls the light and fan eliminating the need for wires. You just need to make sure you have 3AAA batteries to control the remote control.
