Review on 🔌 CMARS Compatible SmartThings Extender: Essential for Enhanced Functionality by Mark Erandio

These 2 plugs were my first Zigbee devices on my Hubitat system. Before that I only had Z-Wave devices. My house is small and I had no issues with my wall mounted Z-Wave switches and outlets working at full power with my hub. Once I had these two new outlets, I plugged them into the outlet next to the hub and very easily turned them on. Unfortunately, when I moved them down the hall to the spots I wanted to use them, they wouldn't connect - with a constant 'send' message. They were only 30-35 feet from the hub, but a couple of interior walls got in the way. I've found that if I place one of the outlets in the hallway 18-20 feet away I can reach the other in the right spot 35 feet away, but when I unplug the outlet in the hallway I stop banging communicate endpoint 35 feet away. a way. This really limits the usefulness of these forks and I cannot recommend them. At best I bought 2 devices but only received one and lost the plug in the hallway.
