I waited a few months before writing a review to see how the duvet would wash and wear over time (photos were taken at the time of review) . He exceeded expectations! I was worried about how it would wash out based on other reviews of scuffs and seam rips, but I've washed it at least a dozen times and it feels as good as straight out of the box! Showing no sign of tearing, fraying or a matte softness, it's lightweight yet perfectly warm and cozy, ideal for Spring/Summer/Fall bedding (we get heavier in the winter here in Colorado). We love it so much, I've already picked 2 more colors! UPDATE - still no signs of cracking or abrasion or matting softness and I wrote the above review about 18 months ago (so almost 2 years since purchase). It still looks the same as in the photos. It has been washed countless times (be sure to follow the care instructions on the label). Impressive quality for the price!
