I am shocked that this product really does what it is supposed to do. It worked very well on foam but also works great on wool felt carpets. I had one that I used a lot that had real wool in it. I tried it, there is a photo of how much cleaner it has become. I also used it to clean two new felt mats that have only been used once each and look brand new. I would suggest using the tool every day after felting rather than letting the wool build up. It only takes a few minutes and the result is worth it. I've also included a photo of the yarn I mixed. It did a good job and was a lot faster than the tool-less shuffle. I tried to add photos afterwards but couldn't. It really works.
