Review on 🔧 Dorman 598-112 EGR Tube: Enhancing Engine Performance by Joel Miranda

Other reviewers have noted that this tube is about 1/4 inch longer than the original. It still fits in my car, but I was a little nervous when I first took it out of the box. I had to be a little pushy (not really, just a little) to put it in. As a result, it's entirely possible that I put some strain on this tube and it may not last very long. I do not know; the time will show. In any case, Focus ERG tubes don't last long (35-40,000 miles in most cases). Size aside, I'm not sure if this is the highest quality pipe; It's made in China and the soldering doesn't seem to be very strong. Again, this doesn't look strong; maybe it's true, we'll see. The description says it comes with instructions; It wasn't in the box I received. I didn't need it anyway, but thought I'd mention it here. Overall it's cheap and it really fits, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.
