🔧 Dorman 598-112 EGR Tube: Enhancing Engine Performance Review

This part fits perfectly. I also installed a new EGR valve. It couldn't be easier. The welds on this pipe look much better than the original pipe.

Was very happy to find this part for only $31, local cost $76 BUT doesn't fit! It's 1/4 longer than the one I took off > If it doesn't meet the specs, why the price difference? I am not sure. I put it in a vise, made a few bends and now it fits. Overall I'm glad it worked and I saved MONEY1

Other reviewers have noted that this tube is about 1/4 inch longer than the original. It still fits in my car, but I was a little nervous when I first took it out of the box. First, it's made out of steel, not the cheap copper tubing that Ford puts in these cars. The Ford copper pipe is not welded to the exhaust manifold flange. It breaks, forcing owners to replace it with the same copper tubing if purchased from Ford parts. As for the previous guy who said he didn't fit? It fits exactly.
