So I had a Samsung BN59-01220A remote control that fell on the tile and was shaking so bad I needed a new controller . Apparently Samsung BN59-01220A and BN59-01220E are practically identical. In any case. I had to order a new controller so I received the BN59-01220E along with the protective case. Unfortunately I think this particular model is thicker than most? I don't know but I do know that the back slides very tight (which I think is a good thing) but the front while I can get the left or right corner in the cover if I try to get both in just slides out of here. Essentially, I think the controller needs more ridge around the button cutout to snap onto the remote. I'll probably casually stash the remote in this cover for as long as possible rather than not having a cover at all and go to the trouble of throwing money at getting another cover or getting a refund. But basically I wouldn't recommend this particular case if your remote model is the same as mine due to the poor fit. I think I'll go ahead and order it (I really didn't want to mess around with trial and error on a bunch of different cases, but this ordering page specifically lists my model). If you have a remote of the same model as mine, I suggest you follow this example. TLDR: Not all BN59 remotes fit the same! More research may be required to find the right case for your remote control!
