These threads are amazing. I do machine embroidery as a hobby and certainly don't consider myself a professional. I mainly do fun decorations or gifts. In that sense, I was happy about these threads. Colors are rich and vibrant with a decent amount of shine. This strain is just what many hobbyists need. It offers a ton of colors with a lot of yarn per color without leaving you with a huge spool of something that you could only use for a project or two. At 550 yards per spool I expect most of these reels to last a very, very long time. Of the colors included, there are a few that I'll be quick to use, particularly those that have a festive or festive theme. However, there are so many of them that I suspect I'll eventually create more projects just to find a use for some of them. I have a Brother PE-770 machine and I use it with a separate embroidery thread holder. I haven't had any issues with this thread breaking or fraying during use. Overall, I would recommend this thread to anyone looking for a budget option that gives you tons of options.
