I read a lot of great reviews on this product and was happy to adapt it for my 8 month old chinchilla. I was very disappointed at first when I got the steering wheel and was able to set it up. The center bolt of the wheel kept loosening and the wheel fell out of the cage no matter how hard I tightened it. I contacted the company directly. They responded within an hour with an apology and immediately sent me a new bike with no additional cost or hassle on my part. They were nice and understanding. Luckily for me they have confirmed that this situation is very, very rare and that it is a faulty/damaged item. Less than a week later I had a new bike on my doorstep. I installed it and my chinchilla Scarlett even confirmed that everything works and she is very happy! Overall, this is a well-made article. He's very big, so make sure you have a cage big enough for him to fit in. I have a Critter Nation double block and it fits well. I am very impressed with this bike and the company's customer service. Now I've raved about it to all the other chinchilla owners. I suspect this bike will last my dear Scarlett for many years. We couldn't be happier with her!
