Tired of buying magnetic cables that either only work for shift or not for data transfer and vice versa, plus the fact that many connectors have been changed, making the cable suitable for use with others devices becomes superfluous. What I liked about this product is that you only need a USB type 'A' to 'C' or straight 'C' cable and you can attach it to a magnetic connection in a jiffy if you wish can customize. . So far it works with my ROG II phone, HP 13 inch 2-n-1 Specter laptop, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and my Planet Computer Communicator phone/PDA. So far there have been no problems loading or transferring data. Longevity remains to be seen, but I'll admit this connector seems solid and well made. I'll be using this connector for a month to see how it works. If all goes well I will definitely be buying more for all my devices.
