I installed this kit on one of my 26" Electa bikes. I don't have a Petal Booster or Brake Controller installed. I have a foot brake that works fine and I only use gas so I don't need any help. it's a petal or a thrush to me. I put two reaction arms on the front wheel to be on the safe side. Since I have no space for the battery in the frame due to the design, I decided to put the battery on the rear post. I set the power to 5 and tried it. Bicycle kit dynamite. takes off like a rocket and flies at a good pace. I hit 25 miles per hour. I walked 1.75 miles uphill and downhill without even picking any petals. I weigh 200 and it flew very well. You'll have to spend some time messing around with things to put this together. I plan to spend a day or two on it. Take your time and check your work. Your simple paddle bike is turning into a very fast e-bike and you want to make sure it's safe. A comment. I haven't used my old paddle bike in years. and now I definitely will.
