This little machine is great for small sewing projects. I've used it to shorten some fairly heavy men's underwear pants and also to make some heavy pet fabric items for a project I designed. It's very easy to set up. Pleasant light really helps. On battery power (optional) it runs noticeably slower and uses less power, but the 6V DC power adapter (included) solves this problem when you need more power. Handy built-in cams for selecting different stitches are a very nice feature. It's a great car
