I've had 2 of these in the last 6 years. As a Blu-ray/DVD player and nothing else, it's great. Does exactly what it takes. However, if you're looking for something that streams Netflix, HULU, YouTube, whatever the web, the technology behind it is outdated and seems inadequate. I've noticed that the system freezes constantly, ads lag, shows stay on loading screens forever while the sound is on, but there's no video. I realized the hardware had burned out and I just needed to replace it with a new one. Well, the brand new one had the exact same issues from the start. No hard reset will fix the fact that the product can no longer provide streaming services with low efficiency. Then I realized that the problems with the old one started to crop up just as Netflix was updating its UI system (which is system-intensive because it's now actively streaming trailers live while you're still deciding whether or not to watch the show Finally, other streaming sites have had major performance issues for the same reasons Sites are updating their code and UI and this player just isn't designed for that anymore Don't be fooled by the cheap price tags, this product just won't work.
