I bought these hoping they would work for germination - A++++ for that. The photo shows that the sprouted fenugreek started on Thursday, today is Saturday. Wow! Today I started using Amaranth in a pack, it was a real test. The seeds are so small I can't use my wire frames. The seeds go right through the mesh I use for the jars. When I washed the seeds before soaking today, not a single seed came out of the bag. I am very happy with them. Haven't tried them for nut milks yet but I'm 100% sure they will work very well for that too. They are strong enough and have a fine enough mesh to work perfectly. I washed when they arrived so I threw my bra etc in some bags as I needed to wash them anyway. They stayed closed throughout the wash cycle. Unfortunately, I only read the supplied instructions AFTER I had thrown all the bags in the laundry at the same time. It says not to wash more than 2-3 bags at a time or the cords will get tangled - and they really are tangled lol. It took me quite a long time to free my underwear from the strings. The attached picture doesn't do justice to the mess I had ;) I highly recommend this product, it's fantastic!
