Review on DREAM SPORT Bike Computer Cadence Sensor - Bluetooth & ๐Ÿšฒ ANT+ for Spin Bike, Speedometer Zwift, Garmin, Wahoo, APP, Stationary Bicycle by Vince Preston

First impressions are positive

Due to the weather I was not able to fully test this sensor. But the first impression is positive. Out of the Dream Sport package (meaning this article, the cadence sensor and the HRM chest strap), the GPS speed sensor is the least valuable of the three for me at this point in time. Cadence sensors remain mandatory. So $29.99 (not counting coupons/discounts) is a reasonable price. Let's hope it stays there (or lower). The workmanship is superb (again, especially for the price). (On the one hand, I wish they were interchangeable o-rings, but on the other hand, by the time your o-ring fails, I think you've already lost the sensor? on the rubber mount.) No pairing issues so far (on my Garmin Forerunner/Fenix). I'm sure I'll "pair" with this sensor as well (and maybe come back for more). Why? Well, I love the Dream Sport HRM chest strap (I have two of these, by the way; I "bought" one through the Vine program (yes, Vine items aren't really free), and I bought the second one directly) . It's just as accurate as my Wahoo chest strap, so I'm fully confident that if I can fully test this cadence sensor I'll be satisfied (I'm far from a top athlete, to be honest, so my cadence readings should be a better approximation, which is indeed accurate (although I'm hoping for the latter, of course!). I'm used to old sensors that require a magnet, so that's been interesting. And so far I'm more than thrilled. So, as a sort Wildcard (Vine has review deadlines) let's pick 4 stars I'm pretty sure I'll come back to up it to 5 but for now 4 stars.
