The slate blue color and jersey design are eye-catching and look great on him. The material of this jersey is also high quality, it is soft and comfortable to wear. However, my son complained about the size of the X-Large, which according to the size chart should fit him. It was too loose around the waist and shoulders. Also, the sleeves were a bit shorter than we expected, which made him uncomfortable when traveling. While the fabric feels strong and durable, the stitching quality of this jersey is below average. The stitching on the bottom of the jersey started to unravel after a few washes, which left us with an uncomfortable impression. All in all, the Fox Racing Kids Defend Long Sleeve Mountain Biking Jersey is a worthy option for young mountain bikers looking for style and breathability on their rides. However, I would suggest ordering one size smaller than the recommended size to avoid a loose fit.
