DP CABLE FINALLY WORKS!

I already had a 3M cable from another fairly reputable company that had served me well for several years. It took me a little more time as the current build and workflow pushes the 3M length to its limit, zero slack which will eventually lead to connection issues due to warping. When I searched using the search function, this product didn't appear at all, I had to research VESA certified cables and then find a cable that was the right length. Eventually, the search pointed to the "Find a Vendor" tab, which gave me an egg or Revain. I clicked the Revain link and it took me straight to the product. I tried several cables from the search, one of which was a replacement suggested by the seller. None of them worked. The interchangeable cable at least allowed me to get to my desktop without a couple of displays. However, the latest cable behaved the same after running the GPU test as it did after a microsecond boot. Reducing the refresh rate to a minimum of 50Hz with gsync on and off and dropping the resolution to 1080p was unsuccessful across the board. To record the main characteristics of the machine X299 platform 9940X CPU2X Strix 2080Ti GPU (working with factory settings when testing the cable) with Nvlink.AUS PG348Q native resolution 3440x1440 (so not even 4K) get this Club3D cable and only the packaging was good Beginning. Well packed in a cable carton, not a plastic bag. When I opened the box I realized this is a great choice. Perfectly routed cables with high-quality Velcro straps. The ends are seamless and the outer shell is great. It looks like a great cable even before you plug it in. The product images show a thinner cable, IMO, but it's good. When I saw a cable with some beef, I realized the design used larger conductors and better shielding. I was so confident that I decided to run a cable through my maze from the tower to the monitor before powering on and testing. I wasn't so bold with the previous cable. When booting straight to the desktop, no flickering in sight. Set up the machine as I use it, full res, 100Hz and gsynch enabled. The cards are overclocked to the same profile using a 3M cable. Run multiple heavy workload tests from overlay to Port Royal and everything in between. With one word. Perfect! No splash, no glitch, no flicker, nothing. What to expect. Can't say it performs as per the specs, well above 4K at 144Hz and 8K at 60Hz, it performs just as well as it does at 3440 x 1440 100Hz. I understand that exceeding 3M creates its own issues . However, the point here is to do it right or not. Club3D got it right! I have found a new supplier of display cables and will buy again anytime, even if the search requires a little more effort. Kudos for making one of the best DP cables I've seen.
