My husband and son tried to start the computer. It kept freezing and we couldn't get it to do anything. It was basically dead. Both husband and son are computer savvy. I was about to send it back but my husband never gives up. He found a way to reboot the operating system, which actually took six hours. Then it worked like a champ. We were also able to download Microsoft Office. I haven't used it yet, so I can't say if I like it. However, it is very difficult to see the keys on the keyboard unless you are in the right light.
