For the nut knife, chef, and fantasy sword lover

Let me just start this review by saying that I've been a lifelong knife chef. I collect high quality folders and have many well known brands of kitchen knives. I professionally sharpen knives for friends and have been known to polish my blades to 15,000 grit, I consider them functional works of art. and this Dalstrong Obliterator may be one of my favorite knives I've ever owned. 7cr17mov steel is used in many inexpensive bushcraft knives. It's a steel that can take a beating and doesn't break easily, but it won't break the bank either. I'm shocked they were able to sell this piece of steel at this price. The fit and finish of the blade is absolutely perfect. I'm amazed that a 3 pound, 9 inch long, 1/4 inch thick blade can be so balanced. That being said, if you lack shoulder strength. beware. This knife is heavy. It looks like something out of Final Fantasy or Dark Souls. look at my photos I have medium hands and this thing is an absolute piece. The first thing I did with this beast was slice up some whole chickens for Korean Fried Chicken. Just. Wow. Goes through bones like butter. I can't wait to use this thing to butcher moose or venison. I was never given a product to review; I'm just a fan of impressive cutlery and I really like this cleaver. The included stand is simple but exquisite and beautiful. The included case is of high quality and padded inside to resist scratches and absorb bumps while traveling. Now that I have this I can never go back to a regular cleaver. I want them to release a two-handed cleaver for butchers. Well done Dalstrong πŸ‘πŸΌ
