These Steripod toothbrush covers smell awful. Each is sealed in a clear plastic container with thin foil inside the package (like previous brands I've bought in stores in the past). When I took the protectors out of the packaging, I noticed a very strong plastic smell. I put them on for two days expecting them to lose that smell. Vain. Then I put them in the dishwasher and let them sit for a week. To my surprise, they still smelled awful. Aside from the smell, I felt like putting it on the head of a toothbrush was dangerous to my health, so I just threw it in the trash.
