Review on 🔌 Carter P4389: Finding Optimal Performance with In-Line Electric Fuel Pump by Vinay Kolluri

I used this pump on my 2003 Supra 22SSV wakeboard boat. Identical to the original pump. Apparently these boats don't use a filter before the pump. It turned out that the original pump's inlet strainer was almost completely clogged. I could hardly breathe air through. I plan on changing the entire fuel line and putting in a filter. I could not distinguish this model from P4594. I called Carter and a very knowledgeable representative said the P4594 comes with barbed fittings, has a slightly lower pressure rating and the anti-corrosion coating is not as good as the P4389. He also said the pumps are identical.
