As a native Texas (Houston area) who moved to Ohio, I can safely say I don't like single digit temperatures. This balaclava is ridiculously good for a ridiculously low price. It doesn't itch (at least for me) and can be set up in a number of ways: 1. Full ninja/'terrorist' for full coverage of the top and bottom of the head. It's incredibly warm. The fabric also allows you to tuck it behind your ears to keep you warm and protected. It also has a bottom long enough to tuck into a shirt or jacket.2. The bottom of the face can be closed while the top of the head is open as the top acts as a hoodie that can be slid back and down.3. Scarf: If you want to look fairly normal and not like a bank robber or counterstrike terrorist, this can all be pushed down to make a very effective scarf/neck warmer that doesn't dangle. It's also easy to go back to other configurations.
