Review on APC P3U3B Surge Protector with USB Charging Ports: Safeguard Your Devices with 1080 Joules of Protection by Rene Carrell

I was so close to returning it as a piece of shit but I gave it another chance. Now it works fine. I first tried charging my Samsung Galaxy 6 with the original USB cable and it charged like a snail. I replaced the USB cable with a standard cable and it charges much faster. I'm talking about 1%/10min vs. 1%/1min. I'm not sure if it's because the cable that came with my phone is for USB 3.0. I like how it has that kickstand area, but haven't really used it. It's a handy place to put my Kindle Fire while it's charging so it takes up less desk space, but I didn't use it while it was charging. Please note the corks are very tight as stated by some reviewers. I had to be very careful when I first plugged in my laptop charger because it looked like something was about to break. Now that I've used it a few times it seems smoother.
