Specs Wrong

When I looked at the specs in the description and compared them to the company's answers in the Q&A, I knew they wouldn't be accurate. I didn't expect how far it would be. I still can't figure out where the whole numbers are coming from. Let's start with the declared 1368 watts at a voltage of 9 to 32 volts. This means we will have a range of amps from 152 to 42 amps. 42 amperes would be realistic if we calculate that 42 amperes at 12 volts result in 504 watts. There is a 30A fuse in the wiring harness. So we know it has to be less. Now for some specific numbers. With a voltage of 13.6 volts, which is typical for a typical running car, we have no more than 11 amps. That's 150 watts. As the voltage increases, the current drops and never gets close to the 1368W spec. All of this sounds good, but is it bright? Good 98760 lumens. This would mean an efficiency of 72 lumens per watt. Let's take that number with the measured output, 10,800 lumens. I have no way of measuring it. If we take the world's best efficiency of 300 watts/lumens, we still only have 45,000 lumens. Now that we have looked at the specs of many light bars, there are many gaps in the specs of the light bars on Amazon. If anyone wants to compete in this category, they're going to have to overdo the features. It wouldn't matter if they were a little crazy. But it doesn't even come close.

Pros
  • SUPER BRIGHT SPOT BEAM: OEDRO's 31-inch quad-row LED strips with durable die-cast aluminum housing and stunning dual-row pure white light are the perfect choice for a variety of off-road applications. Combined Spot Beam - A bright, diffuse beam for a wider illumination area and a focused spot beam for a longer exposure distance.
