Review on Bev Rite Complete D System Picnic by Jon Cherian

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable pump but leaking spout, easy to fix in 1 minute if you have the same problem.

Looks solid. The pump runs throughout its stroke. All components on the pump and clutch were well sealed and made a robust impression. The downside was that the spout at the end of the pipe leaked quite badly. At first he held the pressure. After you open it to get the initial spray/foam, it will keep dripping out beer after released. Eventually it stops when the pressure drops. Then, halfway through a pump, it begins to flow again. I disassembled the spout, as I unscrewed the plastic stopper holding it together I could hear the rubber squeaking badly. When I looked at the rubber parts inside, I couldn't see any tears. collect back. while the rubber creaks a lot. And it's still dripping. I think when the knot is twisted the rubber inside sticks and ties into a deformed shape that doesn't seal properly. I took it apart again. a small amount of olive oil (can't be more edible than edible :)) smeared on the edge of the rubber seal. There was no creaking during assembly (I assume there were no bindings/deformations). And then he held the pressure with no leaks for the rest of the night. - 1 star for the nose. Will update after a few parties to see if it holds up. To be honest I'll probably only use it 2-3 times a year *max*. Other thoughts: If I confirm that the connector works with that, I might add a CO2 system. At first glance it looks like it could be done.
