This is a simple source and output switcher. I use it to route the input of two of my DACS; Topping D30 and (not pictured) SMSL SU8 to my various amps. I'm thinking about getting another 2 in 1 output so I can hook up the 2 amp output and do a quick A/B comparison. It takes up a lot of space as it has 8 balanced jacks and 4 RCA jacks on the back. The handles seem strong enough. This is a completely passive source/output selector, so apart from possible signal degradation due to the quality of the internal wiring, this should be a basically neutral device. As far as I can tell it's transparent and didn't affect the sound quality at all and made it a lot easier to route inputs to the outputs you want. This is a lightweight unit. It's not built like a tank, but unless you're really picky about it it should last you a very long time, and because it's so simple in design it should be very serviceable for the user if one of the selector switches changes or input jacks, if -or fails. You just have to be relatively skilled with a soldering iron. Highly recommended.
