I've had this scale for a week and a half and I'm generally happy with it. The base of the scale seems very well constructed, with a stamped metal body and platform rather than cheaper materials, and I love the fact that the readhead can be battery powered (and that the battery is included!) or the included wall adapter. . It's also nice that there are multiple mounting options for the reader, including a very stable corner stand for use on flat surfaces. The scale seems very repeatable - step on it three times and you don't get three different results. Of course, it's probably because of how it's programmed and not the inherent precision, but at least it combats that compulsion to keep trying to get it to "settle down" to a number. The only downside I can point out is that one of the elements in the LCD is dark and at a certain angle 8 looks like 0. This is a manufacturing defect by the display supplier and should not be returned for that reason alone, but somehow manages to pass quality control. If there are more issues I will update my review.
