I purchased a pink and grey pair January 2021. They are coming apart where the soles connect to the Chenille area. My toes were never bare. What can I say they wasted two years. I Loved them and now I'm ordering 3 more colors. I hope they'll last longer. I gently machine wash in cool water and air dry. I like the style, comfort and softness. I hardly ever wear out shoes cause I have so many but these shoes I wear every winter. They do stretch out a little so be sure to allow for that. I'm trying them again.
