The unit had a weird odor. Fortunately, the smell washed out on the first try. The hair was very soft and the color was beautiful, as advertised. HOWEVER, if you're particular about curl patterns, you'll see easily that while the wig is advertised as a "Deep Wave," the texture is more of a Jheri Curl pattern, rather than a deep wave. Knots bleached easily and quickly. While wet, the hair looks great- a little thin. As it dries, it still looks nice, it expands, giving that kind of bushy look. BUT the ends start looking very frazzled, frizzy and dry. I installed the unit Friday. By Saturday evening, the adjustable strap in it broke. Maybe I just got a bad one, but if you can deal with toting a water bottle around with you all day, get it.
