First, let me say i've been a fan of Gorilla Glue products for a decade. I bought this to repair an Aerogarden, the height-setting button snapped off, and it's normally screwed on. Rather than just adhering plastic-to-plastic, i wanted to stick the button back on and make it capable of gripping the screw, too. So i shopped for epoxy and saw Gorilla Glue's name and knew i had to try it.The epoxy worked, so it gets three stars. If you want an epoxy, this certainly qualifies. However, it's not really all that great of an epoxy, so i took two stars off because if someone asked for a recommendation on an epoxy adhesive, i can't point to Gorilla Glue's version and give any reason to use it over anything else. All of Gorilla Glue's other products have taken things to the next level and set them apart, they even improved duct tape. If i need epoxy again in the future, i see no reason not to switch to JB Weld, which is even stronger, or Permatex, which has a wider variety of selections. So in conclusion, it's an epoxy and it works for many household needs, but there are better products out there. Also, one piece of advice. You can use the product's tray for mixing but it and the popsicle stick it comes with are going to be somewhat useless after the first time you mix some. Popsicle "craft sticks" are cheap though, so keep some handy and when you need to mix, use the bottom of an empty pop can. You'll be able to mix anything from a small batch to a pool of the stuff, and the aluminum will help pull the heat produced by the curing reaction away AND let you know you're mixing properly.EDIT: If you have a large job to use this on, work fast. With other epoxies like JB-Weld the mixture slowly thickens until it becomes hard. Twice now, i've had this Gorilla version of epoxy "flash-freeze" on me. Scooped some to spread on the surface, scooped some more, one more pass and the stick i was using hit a rock-solid surface. I'd say it went from workable to solid in 15-20 seconds, it basically lacks a thickening transition. I can't explain it, your mileage may vary.
