There were reviews that the bottom was defective but I bought it anyway. It was noticed that there are locking points on the underside of the case that snap into the vent. Looks great, never falls off, have been using it regularly for a few months. I bought the palm version and the palms are printed over the clear body in a matte but layered manner that has amazing detail and durability. There is no chance of scratching it with normal use. Comes with two silicone keyboard pads for touchpad or non-touchpad models. The only problem I have is that the keyboard cover doesn't fit perfectly. Not so hot what's up. Doesn't bother me while typing at work or on vacation and I use it all day. The native keyboard on a Mac is great, but I grease my hands and hate the finger smudges that get onto the keys after typing. This solves that problem and I will definitely buy again. Even if it breaks after 6 months, I will buy the same again.
