I would say for the money you are paying this is the perfect solution. I have a 2008 SI and it didn't quite match the dash and it was too dark. That being said, I noticed that the original version didn't fit on the dash either, so I wasn't too upset. I ordered both this and the taupe just to be sure, but the taupe came a lot closer than this one. There was a small issue with the AC buttons getting stuck when I pushed them, but I just took out my dremel and sanded the bottom edge a bit and it was fine. The only other complaint I have is that it slips out a little more easily than the OEM. But since there is another piece on top, it will never come out at all. The radio and case were easy to install, nothing special. I had a bit of an issue screwing in the air conditioning, hazard warning system and airbag, although the plastic cracked a little more each time I turned the screw. Other than that it looks great in my car and you absolutely can't tell the color difference unless you look at both parts where they overlap.
