Review on ๐Ÿšง Munchkin Wooden and Steel Baby Gate Extender, 11-inches by Tammy Strinden

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy gate, poor workmanship

Durability, style and instructions are great. However, Munchkin needs to take a look at their manufacturing and design processes. Their manufacturing process leaves burrs on the inside of baby gates. Because of this, it is extremely difficult to remove the bottom plugs without damaging them. I had to ask a friend to stand on the gate while I unplugged it with a couple of padlocks. With additional tools, inserting the gate is not difficult, but it is more difficult than it should be. I wouldn't recommend this gate to anyone who doesn't have extra tools around the house or who doesn't have a lot of upper body strength. Once installed the gate is very strong and I have no reason to worry about my dog or 2 year old knocking it over. I would give this product a 3/5 if you need to use extensions to get into the door frame. If you don't need to use extensions, this product easily gets a 5/5. If proper crafting methods were used to make gates, I would give gates with extensions a 5/5.
