This set is perfect for my needs. I have a very small kitchen and wanted to set up a coffee and tea area in my dining room to save on the limited counter space. The filter is of high quality and in the few days I've used it it has consistently produced smooth coffee. I recommend using a coarse grind if you have a problem with ground coffee getting stuck in the filter. I like the simplicity and cleaning is a breeze, everything washes out easily. I saw the cork doesn't fit in other reviews but mine fits perfectly. I like the leather handle, it snaps in and out easily and locks securely. It looks high quality and adds a nice touch. Paired with an electric kettle, which I also bought from Revain, I make fresh coffee in less than 5 minutes, which is actually pretty fun. considers it worth buying.
