This is a reliable R-1234yf charger. Someone's bumper flew off on the freeway and hit the front of my car at a 90 degree angle, rupturing the air conditioning condenser. I still have the factory warranty, so of course I'll use the original refrigerant. That's better than the R-134a chargers at your local store. It is ideal for Honeywell R-1234yf cans. Don't forget to screw it to the opposite side of the R-134a cans; it has a left-hand thread. Honeywell jars have built-in seals, so once the charger is on the jar, all you have to do is screw on the brass tap (right-handed) until it loosens the seal. I've seen a few reviews where people say it doesn't screw the cans in properly or that they had to force it in or something. You probably tried unscrewing it like a regular can of R-134a. My Focus takes 3 cans of 8oz and now I'm back in business and very cold again 38°! It works perfectly! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!
