The rubber buttons on my stock key fob were broken and I wanted to replace them. This replacement was a great replacement. I completely destroyed the plastic case of my original trying to take it apart and having it as an option was well worth the time and effort. If you are unsure, seek professional help, but you will overdo it and make the problem worse. That saved me a trip to the dealer.
