This little tool does a great job of checking the charging system on all the vehicles I work with. I was able to find a few batteries that had problems that weren't immediately obvious, which prevented my customers from having problems in the future. The ThinkDiag Battery Tester tests the battery under load with the vehicle's most draining starter and provides fast and accurate results. You can also do a quick test without starting the engine, and it will also check the health status and charging percentage. ThinkDiag also had a very nice feature that checked the system for charge ripple to make sure the alternator wasn't leaking AC power into the electrical system which could cause all sorts of electrical problems. Having all of these features in such a small package means I don't have to take out my expensive testers to quickly diagnose the starting and charging system. You really can't beat this level of testing for this kind of money, this will be my tool simply because I can do everything and it's very easy to use.
