After receiving and cleaning this bottle, I wanted to make sure it didn't have a chemical aftertaste. I filled it up and left it in the fridge for almost 24 hours. There was no chemical smell or taste. Also, the bottle actually holds about 38 ounces since the 32 ounce mark is on it. It's made of plastic, so it doesn't keep the water cold for long. It is sealed when the lid is closed. I put it in when it was full and there was no leakage. My only regret is that instead of a plain bottle I didn't get a cute bottle of sloth!
