Review on Enhance Your Tablet Experience with the ZAGG Hinged Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard and other Essential Accessories by Adam Gechem

After reading some bad reviews and some great reviews, I decided to buy a Zagg Folio for my iPad Mini. I've been using it every day for the past month and haven't had to charge it. The buttons are still attached and work well, they bounce well. I can turn on the keyboard backlight if I want, but this impacts battery life more than not turning on the backlight. The hinge isn't broken, it's very strong and holds the screen at a good angle. Having said that, I have to say that after reading the complaints about the crash, I was extra cautious about opening or closing it. The black textured finish looks very professional and my iPad mini fits snugly in the case. It's very difficult to swipe up to bring up the on-screen taskbar unless you're using a stylus, but there's a function key above the number 1 that looks like a square. A single tap closes an app, a double tap opens a view of all your open apps and the taskbar (just like swiping up). I like the ability to use the keyboard keys to scroll, delete, copy, etc. and everything works as it should. I don't think you have to worry about this keyboard case, but if you receive one that doesn't work, you can always contact ZAGG or exchange it for another. Someone in the comments mentioned that you don't have the same guarantee after buying a Zagg Folio case here, but that's no different than buying one in a store. You can register it on the ZAGG website and contact the manufacturer with any questions if your warranty is still valid. The hinge still feels solid and I've only charged it once despite using the keyboard on a daily basis. The keys still have a nice feel, and none of them have fallen off. I like the keyboard shortcuts and the glowing background (although I don't usually need it). It still looks new and I would buy it again.
