Bought to use with my Beofang UV5R5. I thought the first one was defective because the aux port wasn't working. I disassembled it and couldn't put it back together, so I ordered another one. A new one arrives and I put it in my UV5R5. The sound and mic through the speaker worked fine, but when you plugged in external headphones there was no sound. Tried 3 different headphones including the one recommended by Revain for the transmitter (actually it was the first one I tried) and got nothing. It's also built so cheaply that I see it last 2 days max. I will not buy again. PS The only saving would be if the aux port actually worked.
