fell on February 23rd and 20th and broke his kneecap and it's no luck unless Toasy Warm! So I went shopping for neoprene bandages, this is 1 of 2 I wanted to try and picked up too - Braceability Wide Calf model. Followed their measuring instructions and it was too loose! A brace fitted 2xl well, my kneecap was happy. The left side of my knee wasn't itchy and I CLEANED THE BRAKES AFTER 2 DAYS OF WEARING After 2 weeks that night when the left side was itchy I just pulled the braces through my jeans and scraped them. The itching subsided a bit when I went to shower and undress! Hooray, on the left side I had a 2" x 4" patch of skin, pink! and it was still itchy, some started using tea tree oil. Antifungal 2 days without change, skin became rough. Alligator skin and scrub. Of course, I don't have any anti-inflammatory drugs. Luckily I have a few jars of Dermaplast. It's an anesthetic, OH WHAT HELPED! After 2 days the color started to fall off and the itching subsided. I don't know what caused this, but I suspect it's something about these braces that my skin doesn't like. Too bad they really helped!
