Our problem was that there was a very good water heater installed across the street.

Our problem was that we have a very good water heater at the other end of the house. So we had to wait quite a long time to get hot water to the kitchen or choose to wash our hands/dishes with cold water. Not funny. I decided to buy the 2.5 gallon version of this heater. I was hesitant between it and 4 gallon but this one won because of the smaller size. This was important because the cupboard under our sink is full of things we never use. I felt like I could fit the 2.5 inch version but not the 4 gallon version. Sure I could find another closet to store all the things we never use, but they are already full of things we never use. So it wasn't an option. Installation was very easy. I simply connected the hot water line to the kitchen to the water heater's cold water inlet and the water heater's hot water outlet to a small fitting that splits the flow between the kitchen sink and dishwasher. The only other setting. The problem is that it takes three quick trips to the hardware store to get the hardware you need. I've heard stories of people doing it on a trip, it seems they got the right parts the first time, but that wasn't my experience. " or something similarly informative. It wasn't perfect and had to be turned on a bit to get the water more than warm. But this thing does what I was hoping for! It takes some getting used to the fact that when you open it it's hot water tap, hot Water really comes out of the thing What a concept!
