My vet recommended this food for our 2 yr old Lab. Royal Canin spends less on advertising, and more on researching canine nutrition than some other well known brands. The formula is designed specifically for the breed, and the large kibble with a hole inside helps promote chewing. Like most Labs, she still inhales her food, but at least it slows her down a bit! She's been eating this food for about 6 months and has a beautiful, soft coat. It's a real bonus to be able to have the 30 lb bag delivered to our door for less than it costs at PetSmart!
