They are great and very good at removing eye makeup from nooks and crannies. I use them to clean the eyelids near the lash line, which is important if you have eyelash extensions. You can dip them in any makeup remover, mild facial cleanser or even cleansing oil (if you don't have waterproof eye makeup tips) to gently wash away liquid eyeliner etc. I just use them with a 50/50 mix of baby shampoo and water. Just remember to wash and disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol if you use them more than once. Otherwise, use a clean one each time. Of course, it can also be used to apply make-up hygienically.
