I ordered them through Prime Revain in the middle of the night on March 3, 2021. I ran out of regular 3/16 (4.8mm) rubber bands from the orthodontist. I was unable to go to my orthodontist and he was unable to send me new elastics without an appointment due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. They arrived today, March 5, 2021 at 12:39 p.m. I opened the package and the picture was actually different than what I ordered and the advert said the picture would be different so I wasn't surprised. I had a rabbit on my package and I turned it over and it was cut 3/16 for 4.8mm, just how I wanted it. So I took off yesterday's rubber bands, brushed my teeth and put them on. They are very durable. The ones I get from my orthodontist are very heavy, not latex and only high strength latex, but they seem exactly the same to me. Now remember that these are latex and the ones you would normally get from an orthodontist. no latex. If you are allergic to latex, please don't buy them. This is excellent value for money. I got five packs of 100, so that's 500 gummies for $10 with free shipping through Prime, but non-Prime shipping was pretty low, like two plus change. Also, I've seen many reviews of rubber bands stating that the person opened their mouth. and the gum broke or tried to eat and broke. You shouldn't eat with rubber bands. You have to take them off, eat them, and then put on new ones. They shouldn't be left lying around while eating, otherwise they'll tear badly. Do not eat; only during the day. Yes you can talk to them, yes your speech sounds weird, that's what braces do. And sometimes, depending on your treatment plan, you may need to wear double elastics at night. A few minutes ago I put on double elastics to try at night and they work great. They are beautiful and durable, like mine made by an orthodontist. I would give them five stars. They are also easy to use. Some people use a small tool to attach them to the braces hooks, I just use my fingers. I would recommend them if you are in a tight situation and need rubber bands for a day or two now. Go ahead and order them, just make sure you're ordering the right size. You will not be disappointed.
