I was looking for something to protect me from the sun and this does that! I purchased the zipper one and it was everything I wanted. The fit was spot on for the size, but as others have said the sleeves are an issue. They are the correct length but you would expect or HOPE that they would be longer to accommodate for the thumb-hole. The hood is larger than most of these type of shirts and I LOVE IT!. I feel that it helps cover all of the face and neck. I have other hooded shirts and the hood is too small and I feel like parts of my face and neck are not as protected when wearing a hat. This has a nice extended rim on the hood which is the best thing ever. I use this to walk in and it keeps me cool and dry and the quarter zipper front is nice if you want to let some air in if you feel hot-ish. I have worn it in 90+degree weather and my skin did not feel like it was on fire so I would highly recommend this to those who have a love/hate sun relationship. I have yet to wash it a few times but the stitching seems solid and will update review if any issues arise. As I said before the fit was as expected, not tight at all but I may purchase a 2nd one and go a size larger just to have a more baggy feeling but that is just my preference and it will allow one to wear a t shirt under
