After upgrading to a wireless charging phone, I quickly stumbled across this device to replace the previous magnetic holder in my car. Phone looks well built Doesn't overheat Not very good: Slightly larger than previous non-charging magnetic mount Requires the use of an external rubber cross plate on your phone or case. It came with a lower profile metal plate similar to my old mount which I hid under a protective rubber sleeve but the magnetic pull was too weak for the phone to fall off. In addition, although the cross plate holds the phone, it cannot be moved to the second phone. Additional "X" signs can be purchased from various websites for $6-$10. Despite these shortcomings, it seems to be the best solution on the market right now, and it's certainly nice not to have another cord dangling around the car.
