I love this product. I want to love him, but that's just not right. I have an iPhone 8 Plus, a big, heavy phone. A magnet holds it through a thin case with a metal insert inside the case (although my signature Apple leather case was too thick and had to be replaced). The quality of the material was excellent. When I take my case all the way off it charges via an ugly U shaped piece of metal, overall this charger doesn't work for me. The included X-Bar doesn't charge any of the phones I've tested, even without a case. If I put my phone in between without magnets, it will charge with the case but won't stick. Also, the magnets are very weak and I'm sure my phone will spend more time on the floor after falling than stuck to the mount.

Great concept but ridiculously far from the real world. I tried it with a Samsung Galaxy S9+, both with and without a case. The results were anything but spectacular.
