First of all I'm 37 years old, I like to play on all consoles but I work all day but I still like to play in between so I love my Switch! The Switch only has two main problems. The #1 switch is quite an awkward size and tended to hurt my hands after playing it for a while. Number 2 that all Switch owners know about is the Joycon drift issue! I've had a Switch since 2017 and have gone through 4 sets of Joy Cons. Not enthusiastic and that's why I don't want to play so much anymore! So basically I had to pay to dock with the Switch Pro controller. So I was looking for a portable ergonomic grip so I could play handheld devices again. I've tried the Nintendo Switch's satisfying grip, which was good, but I don't do anything along the way to avoid the drift problem. So it wouldn't solve both of my problems! I also tried Hori's ergonomic joysticks, but they stretched the mounts where the joysticks connect to the main Switch tablet. They also drained the battery very quickly and made the Switch difficult to hold in my hands. So in the end I settled on the Oivo Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch, the Switch Pro Controller Comfort Grip with motion, vibration and turbo functions for the Nintendo Switch handheld. Now that I say it's settled, it couldn't be further from the truth. I was a little skeptical when I ordered it and when I first took it out I wasn't sure but that's where all the Becks skepticism ended, once I turned on my switch and played it I didn't stop for hours, what I haven't honestly done in years. I even started taking it by the fire in my backyard on a good night, early in the morning in a comfy chair with a morning cup of coffee, and even decided to pay for it in my gaming hideaway even if I had the opportunity pay it at the dock. ! That's something I would never choose to do. So I could watch sports or one of my shows and play games at the same time. What makes this grip/controller different is listed below: - More natural grip feel like Xbox Series X, Pro controller or Ps4 controller - Vibration and rumble are more natural (better than Joy-Cons) - No battery drain at all! - The joysticks are very responsive and have a texture similar to the x-series controller joysticks. You can also change the joystick type to the right, which is an added bonus. One of the biggest things I really liked about this grip is that the area where the switch connects to this grip/controller was the back panel. . It is one entity, not separate devices. For someone who is a teacher/carer/dad I don't have money to waste and I need mobility to get time to play. But I also want it to feel like I'm getting the full console experience, even if it's portable. The Switch, combined with the Oivo Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch, also gives me this opportunity as a teacher, father and husband who is very short on time! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an ergonomic grip with the feel of a Switch Pro controller. ! I play almost more in the pen than in the dock, and it's all thanks to this new grip/controller.
